Photography has always been a passion, even as a child I had a fascination with the camera and used my father’s Kodak Instamatic, 120 & 8mm movie cameras on family vacations and events.
In 1977 I bought my first camera, it was a Canon AE1 35mm SLR. I had my own darkroom where I processed 35mm B&W film and printed images. I switched from film to digital in 2004. Since then I have been much more active in developing my artistic skills as a photographer. Digital satisfies my interest of a technical nature in computers and image processing software it also serves as an outlet for my artistic side. Best of all there is none of the mess or chemical smells that come with having a darkroom.
